Often with figures from the Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. series young fans would only be provided hints of a character’s identity in the “sculpt” of the character. Since their original names and backstories weren’t carried over when Mattel licensed and imported the line for distribution to the English markets for whatever reason. Among them Map Man was another of many whose identity can be seen in the details of his distinctive design.

A minor concept character whose origins in the expansive Japanese manga series of Kinnikuman, but an intriguing form none the less. With brief appearance in supporting or background roles as one of the hundreds of unique characters that occupy the story arcs.
Geographically themed with map of the Earth marked across his body as almost to be a visual education gimmick, the concept fits perfectly with the creative world produced by the Japanese power team called Yudetamago. Quirkier than intimidating.

Not without his how few signature techniques his fighting style focuses on positioning and directional control using moves like his Map Press, Compass Throw, or the Grid Lock where he can trap opponents within a set of mapped boundaries. Novelty in both form and function but entertaining to fans around the world allows to join in the imaginative fun of the figure.
