The arch
Standing as the formidable wall in many imaginations growing up this villainous member of the Seven Devil Chojin known as Sunshine was a force that took many shapes. Composed entirely of sand he can disperse and reform his body at will with blocky shapes distinctive to his fighting style.
His physique of little bricks quickly made him a fan favorite among the M.U.S.C.L.E. collector crowd has his varied forms found in the line from Mattel made awesome contender’s in figure battles. A monolith brought to light his figure in #15 form as a menacing arch is well known and easy to identify even from a distance.
Closer inspection shows his menacing grin and cavernous hole in his chest, this figure is one of the most dense found in the series. A bridge like silhouette that army collectors often pick as this figure stacks nice and solid. With a pose pose emphasizes his unnatural durability and immense strength, as if he could withstand crushing force without budging.
Unlike more humanoid M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, Sunshine’s arch form feels architectural—less like a wrestler mid-grapple and more like a living structure. The simplified sculpt enhances his mass and solidity. Cast most commonly in the signature flesh (or pink) rubber, the figure captures the exaggerated musculature and intimidating presence that made him memorable in the manga and anime.
