Deep sea alien
Standing large and mysterious with an odd form, Ammonitos could have taken many identities in the imaginations of young fans. Especially those introduced to his likeness through the Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. toys that dropped his name for a collectively marketed identity instead. The recognizable alien appearing face with what at first glance appears as exposed brain in an interesting and creative character that occupies the enormous Kinnikuman universe, a still popular manga and anime franchise from Japan.

Resembling an ancient ammonite sea creature in a humanoid form with a half-petrified body and hailing from Greece, this creature is a fan favorite among the more biological off-shot character designs in the series. The fossil appearance lends to the intimidating look with a superhuman wrestler role physically ready for combat.
Despite his appearance, he’s a weaker secondary antagonist with a brittle body that adds a layer of irony to the character role since the mantra of the story lines promotes strength in various forms. However, he is a skilled swimmer being native the ocean with a background reflecting Greek mythology and mediterranean origins.

While a very minor character in appearances and backstory his signature moves are limited to the Poseidon Hook playing off his exaggerated gimmick blending mythology and wrestling prowess. A figure that many tend to find more memorable regardless of whether his story was known or created by the fan who held it.

The franchise hosts an ever-growing roster of imaginative heroes and background supporting characters through the story arcs that continue to entertain and inspire. Thanks to an artistic pair of friends from Japan with a sense of humor that collectively go by the name Yudetamago.
Another example of creative and original design thinking that allows the various toy lines to continue to inspire the imaginations of fans around the world. With the Kinnikuman hopefully continuing to grow well into the future.
