Scheming skullduggery
Among the earliest antagonist characters in the Kinnikuman universe is Kinkotsuman, who many years later became simply Skullduggery in the Ultimate Muscle series. An alien from Planet Dokuro (translated as Planet Skull) who seeks conquest on Earth where he’s met by the primary hero Kinnikuman himself.
Embodying both wacky cartoon like villain characteristics he displays the symbol for kanji (or “bone“) on his forehead and is a true menace of as an antagonist. He’s goofy and unpredictable popping up alongside his sidekick Iwao to cause entertaining shenanigans.
His character fades out once the storyline becomes more dominated by entirely wrestling and combat, he remains in the extended cast with smaller appearances later. As he’s not a top tier combatant and his persona leans heavily more towards trickery and mischief than hardcore fighting, he does have some signature moves.
Known for sabotage and subterfuge he displays his Kinkotsu headbutt, Perpendicular Back Drop, and his DDT a destabilizing drop move that plays to mischievous cunning. As a schemer he excels far more than as a wrestler, but became a favorite to many when introduced in the Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. line to English speaking markets who didn’t learn his story until long after.
