A bit rowdy
Another tribute figure to a real life wrestling legend, Dynamite Piper is a parody homage by Yudetamago to the late great “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. In the Kinnikuman universe he appears in the American Tour arc, which focused on national champions and tournament style matches.
Complete with a rebellious attitude and fighting spirit matching his North American wrestling counterparts personality, in Japan it translated to exaggerated super wrestling battles. In his key appearance Dynamite Piper faces Robin Maskin Brazil in a violent clash ending when he’s literally torn in half by Robin Mask’s signature finishing move, the Tower Bridge.
The Piper Key Lock is the one signature submission style move, one seen as favorited by Roddy in real life many times by different name.
