Skinny blocks shine
Memorable and probably given any number of creative names by the children of North America who didn’t know his original story. Sunshine is easily one of the favorite characters that made their way to the new markets from Japan that appears in multiple different forms in the M.U.S.C.L.E. series of figures.

Originally from the Kinnikuman manga universe created by the creative duo Yudetamago for audiences in Japan. This classified Devil Chojin (and one of the elite Six Devil Knights) initially appears as an antagonist to the hero wrestlers in the series. Enormous, with a body composed of sand and gold dust he has the unique ability to reshape himself in combat.
Despite his brutish nature and fighting style the character sometimes reveals deeper traits, including loyalty to comrades like Ashuramanand nuanced relationships with other fighters. He’s portrayed as a formidable warrior and even a mentor in some iterations.

Sunshine’s fighting techniques revolve around his transforming abilities with notable signature moves including the Sand Hell, Hell’s Pyramid, Hell’s Arch, Hell’s Top, and the Cursed Roller. Many of which are presented in their actual forms by his multiple figures found in the Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. series of figures inspired by the original Japanese keshi line.
