Big the Budo
A chunky and powerful antagonist character from the original Japanese wrestling manga from the Kinnikuman universe created by the artistic duo Yudetamago. This menacing combatant is known by several names but in this figure Neptune Man (aka Big the Budo) is a manipulative mastermind of the Hell Missionaries and represents the ideals of the elite Perfect Chojin.

Often an imposing character filled with philosophical rhetoric he’s also often hypocritical and opportunistic, willing to bend the rules of his own faction if it ensures a victory in battle. Introduced in the Dream Chojin Tag Team Tournament story arc he possesses Magnet Power manipulation trait to draw magnetic energy from the Earth.
Ancient, almost mythological in persona, he granted the Neptune Mask to Quarrel Man transforming the character into another figure found in the M.U.S.C.L.E. series known as Neptune Man after the transfer. Allowing the duo to perform magnetically enhanced fighting techniques and devastating tag-team attacks.

While most in the North American markets who were introduced to the figure by Mattel when imported and rebranded under the M.U.S.C.L.E. series never knew his story. He still became a formidable foe for the imaginations of many young combatants of the era. However, he does have multiple signature techniques still present in the current story arcs today including the Budo Exploding Kick, Magnetic Storm Driver, and the Megaton King drop. A double hook lift that slams his enemy enhanced by magnetic power drawn from the Earth.
