Another of the multiple appearances of Kinnikuman as a figure both in the original Japanese Keshi line, and the imported M.U.S.C.L.E. series for distinction this figure goes by Kinnikuman Great. Don’t let the pajama pants and tank top fool you, this is the protector of Planet Kinniku.

It’s uncertain if this figure is best represented by the Americanized naming by some as the general title of Kinnikuman Great is used by multiple Justice Chojin through the original story arcs. However, to the North American market Mattel saw an opportunity with their introduction of the imported character series for their M.U.S.C.L.E. cousins, many just know him by their own provided names.

Also, in the Kinnikuman universe built by the creative duo Yudetamago, the generalized identity often represents a persona of a masked hero than a single character. Either way, lending to his unmistakable likeness this Kinnikuman figure has a presence all his own.

While the character makes multiple appearances in the M.U.S.C.L.E. series each one is a unique sculpt of the beloved superhero in different pose. Creating a more diverse visual identity available for the imaginations of both the fans of the era and still yet today. Being one of the more common variants of figure, he’s still a welcome partner in any tag team.
