The creative duo Yudetamago being known for presenting playful homages to flamboyant villains, the characters name and presentation another inclusion of a foreign opponent concept. Such characters were common in the era that birthed the storyline arcs inspired by the feats of real-life wrestlers.
His distinctive physical identity and trademark keffiyeh menacingly covering one eye gave him a great background antagonist spot in many childhood memories. Though many wish they could have known his story that wasn’t also imported with the M.U.S.C.L.E. series.

Displaying a fighting style that emphasizes showmanship and a confident theatrical nature. He does have some signature techniques including the Sheik Clutch Hold, and the Desert Spin. A spinning throw to slam opponents to the ground.
Like many Kinnikuman characters, The Sheik uses exaggerated professional wrestling techniques combined with powerful grappling attacks. He may be one of the more common figures in the North American version of the toy line, but a welcomed character none the less.
