Alien invader

Devilishly grinning and memorable as Kaiju styled antagonist Eragines is another interesting character Mattel decided to import from the Japanese keshi series to include as a figure in the rebranded M.U.S.C.L.E. toy line. However, his origins lay in the enigmatic Kinnikuman universe from the creative duo Yudetamago of Japan where they still create new manga for the series today.

Depicted as a reptilian from space and monstrous strength he belongs to a group of alien monsters that periodically invade Earth and cause trouble for the franchise heroes. Appearing early in the second pilot chapter of the original manga with reappearances in other story arcs as an invading alien monster attached to a group of likened characters.

Comedically Eragines and his cohorts frighten the beloved cowardly hero simply with the appearance of the alien invaders leading them to abandon their assaults, deeming the fight too pathetic to pursue. Tough but secondary as a background character his Kaiju strength was still formidable and his signature move, the Flame Attack scorched many opponents.

When introduced to the North American markets though his name and identity were lost from his origins in Japan. Making room for details of the figure to be left to the imaginations of battles with the beastly figure from playgrounds to living rooms around the world.
