To the Western consumers of the Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. toy line this interesting figure spurred all sorts of imaginative fictional combat play times. In his origins though Hang Killer is the product of a talented duo named Yudetamago from Japan and their ever creative Kinnikuman universe of characters.

A memorable supporting character from the classic manga this character has a bit more depth as a brilliant surgeon and inventor known in the Chojin worlds. Also known as Dr. Bombe the character is introduced as a highly skilled doctor performing complex medical procedures on the superhuman wrestlers of the series.

He created the mongol mask for Ramen Man and is known for a more supporting role rather than participate in direct combat. However, he does have techniques of his own including the Divine Punishment, creating a thunder cloud above his head that can attack with lightning bolts.

Unfortunately, as happens in the Kinnikuman universe Dr. Bombe sacrifices himself to complete an operation in the aid of Terryman one of the primary protagonists. An intriguing character whether knowing the origin arc or not, but to collectors his form figure as a caped likeness is the most sought after and was distributed in very low amounts to the new 1980s marketspace.
