Another likeness of a recurring character both in the Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E. figure series and his original Kinnikuman universe origin stories. In the westernized / rebranded version for the English markets the character appears several times in varied forms including #2 Buffalo Man was often a nostalgic fan favorite regardless of if introduced by the original keshi versions or not.

Originally created by the artistic partnership of the duo known as Yudetamago in Japan, the character is complex and evolving even still today in the newest story arcs. Massive, horned like a buffalo, and an imposing physique he’s famously associated as one of the Chojin of the wrestler universe with a power rating over one million.

Introduced as a member of the menacing Devil Chojin faction he’s presented as one of the most dangerous and formidable enemies of the primary hero Kinnikuman and his allies. However, over the course of maturing story lines and after a climactic battle with the lead hero he begins to display honor and depth. Later having a change of heart in moment of reflection and abandons the faction to join the good guy Justice Chojin team, then later dabbles with the Perfect Chojin as well.

With signature moves like the Long Horn Train, Hurricane Mixer, and the Buffalo Hammer crushing an opponent with tremendous force exactly how the name sounds. Whether he was known by the name the imaginations of children of the era created to fill his lost identity, or by the name that made him famous to begin with. The figure is one of the more popular in the figure lines for a reason, he’s cool.
