The dark descendant

Embracing villainous and honor-less antagonist identity was probably the role of this figure in the imaginative wrestling scenarios where he took part whether knowing his story and name or not. Though it would be nice for the English-speaking market he was introduced to via the M.U.S.C.L.E. toy line to at least find out what the Japanese kanji on his face translates to since the author of this brief article doesn’t know either.

However, Dark Nisei is another fantastic mysterious example of the character diversity produced originally by the artistic duo team Yudetamago of Japan long before his likeness made it to North America. As the nostalgic fans of the 1980s characters become more knowledgeable on the origins of their beloved childhood heroes the Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere are getting their original identities properly introduced.

For this figure in particular, the faceless mask on a typical wrestler humanoid body made his story lines lost in translation easy to fill with the imaginations of those whose toy boxes he occupied growing up. With a theme of in design of reflecting a distortion of the likeness of the heroic fighters this character symbolizes a dark energy to the Kinnikuman universe.

M.U.S.C.L.E. #98 Dark Nisei II

While he may not be a central character in the original story lines, his mysterious persona only adds to the interesting presence the figure adds to the expansive and diverse amount of different characters represented. So even if his identity and information is likely scarce to those not familiar with the original manga, he’s still an intriguing addition to the many faces from the nostalgic memories of fans around the globe.
