Another memorable form that became a favorite to many, Screw Kid as a character concept likely found his same role in playground battles as he served in his origins. When the figure found its way to the English-speaking markets Mattel opted to rebrand the character in one of the nameless Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere aka M.U.S.C.L.E. toys.
Except the new fan base had to fill in the identities for the varied forms not knowing their origins amongst an enormous roster of hundreds of unique and intriguing characters in the Kinnikuman universe. A still popularly produced manga and anime franchise created by a pair of Japanese friends collectively named Yudetamago lending their imaginations and interest in wrestling to create characters like this one.
Debuting in the Dream Chojin Tag arc he teams up with Kendaman under the duo team name Killer Game Combo as agented of the villainous Perfect Chojin faction. With the embodiment of a living weapon though brief appearances as a secondary character role contributing to the chaotic tournament story line but never taking a primary hero slot.
Later returning in the continuing manga in 2011, Screw Kid and his now tag team partner Kendaman appear as members of the Perfect Large Numbers faction. Allowing his character form to remain in the wider story arcs with possibility of future appearances.
Noted as cold and sadistic, with a self absorbed sense of superiority that plays perfectly with the “Perfect” Chojin theme of their group. His gimmick includes some entertaining signature moves such as the Hell’s Screwdriver as the tag teams trademark finisher spinning his teammate into a human attack projectile.
Or there’s the Four Point Screw Torture like the form he shows in this figure. Transforming his hands and knees into devastating drill points to impale opponents. Which he still does for collectors today.
