Big golden balls
Comedic an memorable from his origins in the Kinnikuman universe appearing alongside a urinal themed partner Benkiman this character lost his identity and story when imported and rebranded by Mattel for the M.U.S.C.L.E. figure series. However, he’s one of the absurd and creative Chojin wrestlers of the enormous lineup in the manga created by the artistic duo Yudetamago of Japan.

Best known for his ridiculous and comedic gag-based fighting style his humorous presence is further exaggerated by his name playing from the Japanese slang “Kintama” essentially translating to “Golden Balls” making Kintaman one of the more entertaining characters in the franchise series. One of his most notable feats of strength includes lifting a massive Kaiju monster using only his…..well, erect private part.
Appearing during the story arcs of Kinnikuman when the series leaned heavily into parody and humor more than serious combat and depth. He’s a comedic antagonist acting as a low-level opponent or nuisance rather than as a serious threat. Delivering crude jokes and absurd situations within the wrestling foundation of the story lines.

The westernized market may have lost his identity in the process of introduction but his abilities are fitting of a gag role character in every trait including his elastic exaggerated body movement and unpredictable attacks. Showcasing a few hilarious signature techniques including the Double Team Gag, Rolling Body Press, and the Kintama Attack featuring a comedic strike uniquely themed to his body that you may already be able to guess. While the North American market debut may have lost details, he was often affectionately known by other names created in the imaginations of the new fan base and still a nostalgic figure even today.
